90 single occupancy patient rooms, a day surgery unit featuring 4 operating theatres that overlook the altalnatic ocean, ambulatory care facilites and world class diagnostic imaging services provide the people of Bermuda with  enhanced care.
Inpatient wards are concentrically arranged around a 4 storey atrium into ‘neighbourhoods’.  A ‘neighbourhood’ groups patients who require similar treatment together enabling caregivers to impliment care plans efficently and accurately, minimising travel distances and the time it takes to move from one ward to another.
Construction works rely on local knowledge, resources and industry to reinforce community ownership. 
The Bermuda Hospital Board intends to further develop the site and use this project for benchmarking future healthcare provision.      

Departments are organised around a light filled atrium.
